Within3 Virtual Advisory Board

The Solution

At a weekend hackathon a few colleagues and I sat down and imagined how we might improve Within3's virtual advisory board product. We approached the challenge with a minimal viable product mindset and spent much of that weekend sketching and drawing on whiteboards, removing anything that wasn't mission-critical, and simplifying a user's first time experience. We tested some low-fidelity paper prototypes and by the end of day two, we had a few mocked-up screens and a prototype to share with the rest of the team. Over the next couple of weeks, we refined the details, and wrapped up our efforts, and released a refreshed, new product into the wild. After launch, the virtual advisory board quickly became one of the organization's flagship products.

This was a Within3 project completed in collaboration with Jeremy Skelly and Kenn Louis for UX Design. I contributed to the strategy, UX design, and led the UI design portions of the redesign project.
